Back Bay Plein Air Art Festival
Celebrates Another Successful Year

The Back Bay Plein Air Art Festival celebrated another year of unique beauty of the Back Bay while supporting artists, inspiring the community, and encouraging stewardship of this remarkable natural treasure. This year’s event continued that tradition with exceptional artwork, enthusiastic collectors, and a wonderful spirit of camaraderie among artists and volunteers.

The festival kicked off with the Quick Draw event on July 11, attended by 41 artists. The Weekend Show & Sale was held Saturday and Sunday, July 18-19, and proudly hosted 44 talented artists. Once again, the event received fantastic reviews from visitors and collectors alike.

Hortense Miller Garden, Laguna Beach, CA

No more painting dates this Summer, but NEW DATES will be coming this Fall

The Hortense Miller Garden in Laguna Beach hosts SOCALPAPA members to paint at this beautiful garden location where - in the 1950's - Hortense and Oscar Miller built their Mid-Century Modern home among 2-1/2 acres on the upper slopes of Boat Canyon in Laguna Beach.
