Montage Resort
South Laguna Beach
Take PCH into S Laguna and go South into the pay parking garage at Wesley.
Or park across PCH in the small parking lot or use the meters.
Paint down the path with views S or go down on the sand if the tide is out.
Or go farther down and paint the iconic Wedding Ring (Keyhole).
Restrooms at the garage, or midway down the path.
Saturday, January 18th, 9am
Santiago Oaks Regional Park
Orange
2145 Windes Drive in Orange.
Take the 55 Fwy North and go East off Katella (Santiago Canyon Road) a couple miles and go left (N) at Windes Drive.
Wind around 1/2 mile or so to the entrance, pay $5 entry fee.
Park in main lot or gravel parking to the right. Paint hillside views, or go down to the waterfall, or cross creek stepping stones to the other side. Restrooms by the parking lot 100 feet east.
Friday, January 24th, 9am
Caspers Wilderness Park
Take the 5 Fwy South to Ortega Hwy (74) east towards Lake Elsinore.
Go a few miles and go past Christianitos Road, continue a few miles to the entrance, go left to gate, entry fee $3.
Go past gate bearing left across the riverbed, and make first left up the hill to the buildings.
Park in lot, restrooms should be there. Views either way up the riverbed.
Some may want to continue past the left turnoff and go to the other lot below and paint the sycamores.
Restrooms by that lot also.
