Take the 91 Fwy East towards Riverside, exit onto Imperial Hwy going South about 1/2 mile and left on Nohl Ranch Road. Go about 1 mile or so, watch for the Anaheim Hills Golf Course sign. Just after, go Left on Walnut Canyon Road. Go about a mile to the end at the Nature Center parking lot.
Paint the gnarly oaks in the Nature center, or the creek views down the paths.

Take the 5 Freeway to the El Toro Rd. Exit going North. Go a few miles and go Right at Live Oak Canyon Road (Cook’s Corner). Go a few miles to the Park entrance on the Right. Pay the $3 entrance fee. Continue around towards the creekbed and park in the last parking lot before the Creekbed by the restrooms. Paint towards Saddleback Mountain or the opposite way, or surrounding Oaks.

Yorba Regional Park, Yorba Linda
$5 entry fee
Take the 91 Freeway towards Riverside and Exit at Imperial Highway going under the Freeway going North, Go a short way and go Right on LaPalma a mile or two to the entrance midway through the park on the Right. Pay the $5 entry fee and make an immediate R down the park road to the end at Lot A or park in the Baseball diamond lot. Restrooms by the lot. Paint the lake views or the variety or trees. Andrew will be there to assist anyone who needs it.

From Downtown Laguna Beach, go South on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) past Wesley down the hill to the Beach entrance. From the South, take Crown Valley Parkway from the 5 Freeway, go Right on PCH a couple miles to the bottom of the hill, entrance on the Left. Metered parking, pay at the Kiosks. Paint south towards the cliffs or beach activity, or look towards the highway for views.

Take the 5 Freeway South to the Pacific Coast Highway Exit into Dana Point. Go past the archway to the first light and go Left on Dana Point Harbor Drive. Go almost all the way to the end and look on the left for the street Ensenada Place at Dana Cove Park. Free parking and Restrooms available. Paint views over toward the Dana Point Yacht Club or the Ocean Institute and the Spirit sailing ship, or beach activity or the cliffs above.

If you are entering the summer Back Bay Event, a name badge and name plate are required. Get ahead and order yours now!
Log in to the SOCALPAPA website, click Artists in the blue banner and look for Member Resources. Go to that page and you will find a button for ordering the badge and name plate.

Since so many wonderful artists are now contributing to the bin at Muth, we want to remind you of a few guidelines.
1. All work displayed at Muth must be original plein air-style depicting outdoor locations in Orange County.
Animals, plants or people must be shown in a landscape setting.
2. Flat panels only, no foam-core backing or gallery wrap.
3. Mat board backing is suggested to make your work look more professional.
4. Obtain and attach a sales slip for each painting from the green SOCALPAPA notebook at the front desk, and fill out a form to list your work in the green book.
5. Paintings must be in a cellophane envelope.
6. Suggested minimum price: $50 for smaller paintings $75 for larger work.
7. Due to space considerations, we are no longer going to accept prints.
