Three full days of painting the spectacular fall colors and beautiful scenery of the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains around
Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Plan ahead and make your reservations early. There is no charge for the trip. Visit the SOCALPAPA website for all the details and information, and to register your plan to attend.

for an informal tour of two exhibitions:
 
57th Annual Watercolor West International Juried Exhibition

Pastel Society of the West Coast: 99 Voices in Pastel
 
Both shows feature SOCALPAPA members, and there is no charge for entry.
Join us for a great experience and meet for lunch afterwards.

SOCALPAPA Board of Directors Meeting 
Wednesday, September 10, 2025
10am - 12pm

The SOCALPAPA meeting of the Board of Directors is today at the Muth Interpretive Center. While this will be a pure business meeting, all members are invited to attend. There will be an "Open Forum" section in the agenda during which members who are present may address the Board.

 PAINT OUTS


Friday, September 5
8am
Divers Cove, N End
Laguna Beach
 
Take PCH into Laguna Beach and turn S onto Cliff Drive at the Laguna Art Museum by Las Brisas Restaurant,
go around curve and  all the way to the end of Heisler Park to the Divers Cove corner.
Park on the street if available, or metered parking.
Paint ocean views from above or down on the sand.
Restrooms 50 yards down pathway back into Heisler Park.

Saturday, September 13
9am
Aliso Beach
South Laguna
 
Go South on PCH past Wesley at the Montage, go down hill to the Aliso Beach entrance.
Pay for parking at the kiosk. Views South toward the cliffs and rocks or beach activity.
Restrooms by the parking lot and cafe.

Friday, September 19
9am
Cal State Fullerton Arboretum
 
Take 57 Fwy North to Yorba Linda Blvd, go West across the freeway, go Left at Associated Road.
Park in pay parking lot by the Arboretum.
Views of Cactus Garden, the Historic House and windmill, or various ponds and trees and trails.
Restrooms by the nursery shop near the entrance.

Saturday, September 27
9am
Dana Point Harbor
  
Take the 5 Fwy South towards San Clemente, get off at PCH into Dana Point, go past the archway one block and go Left on Dana Point Harbor Drive.Go all the way to the end at the Ocean Institute Parking lot.
Paint the headlands, across the Harbor toward the Yacht Club or yellow sail sailing school boats,
or paint the Spirit sail boat, or paint the cliffs above. Restrooms by the parking lot.
