Saturday, July 5

Irvine Regional Park

Orange

After the $3 entry at the gate, make an immediate right and follow the 10 mph road past the lake and train down to the jog, and go past that down to the last Parking lot P.

Park there and walk farther down on the road around the corner to paint the hillside and meadows and some fall colored trees.

Restrooms near.

July Paint Out in Avalon, Catalina

Paint Catalina Island

with Kymberlee Stanley
July 9th

Join SOCALPAPA member Kymberlee Stanley in Avalon, Catalina for a day of painting in and around Avalon.

To participate in this paint out, you must take the Catalina Express 8:15am boat from Long Beach. Kymberlee will meet our group at the ferry landing in Avalon upon arrival at approximately 9:30am.

She will have planned locations for the group to paint as well as recommended additional locations for people to go paint on their own. Return departure times from Avalon to Long Beach are 3:55pm, 6:30pm and 7:45pm.

If you intend to go, it is your responsibility to book your reservation on Catalina Express (www.catalinaexpress.com).

Lunch will be on your own (but Kymberlee will specify a restaurant where she plans to have lunch).

No paint location today, it's the start of our Best of OC Parks Juried Show, bring in your entries to the Muth Center and help set up the grids and lights if you have time.See drop off info above!

Saturday, July 12

No paint location today, it’s time for the Back Bay Quick Draw, at the Muth. See info above!

Saturday, July 19, and Sunday July 20.

10am - 4pm

No paint location - it's our Back Bay Festival Weekend Show and Sale at the Muth Center.

Go South on PCH a mile from Crown Valley Parkway. On the right see the sign by the Ritz Calton Resort driveway, and look for the entry way by the fake lighthouse. Park in the lot down close to the pay kiosk and walk down under the tunnel to the beach.

Views South towards The Ritz Carlton cliff or North down the beach. Restrooms by the path near the beach.
