Omnivision: Art Across Boundaries

Just Announced:
Mark Fehlman will be the Judge of Awards for Omnivision.
Mark is a signature member of LPAPA with work in the California Art Club “Gold Medal” show,
Pepperdine’s Weisman Museum, and the annual Maynard Dixon Country Show in Carmel, Utah.

This second annual exhibition provides a unique space for SOCALPAPA members to display works that go beyond the limits of genre and media. In collaboration with Orange County Parks.

Registration Opens on Friday, December 18th for Omnivision: Art Across Boundaries 2026 in partnership with Orange County Parks.

Last year this show was featured in local print publications and received praise for the wide range of styles and genre as well as quality of member work. Don't miss out as we are limited to 125 paintings this year. Read the prospectus for more information.

The results are in: Our first Paint Out & Sale at the Shipley Nature Center was a success!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a wonderful day!

The 18 participating artists, volunteers and of course, all the visitors who interacted with our artists on the trails, attended the reception and took home their favorite painting!

Six paintings were sold and we all had a lovely day filled with art and nature.

Thank you Mary for a wonderful Two-Day Plein Air Workshop!

Thank you to Mary Aslin for a fabulous 2-Day Plein Air Pastel Workshop. Mary adapted to the indoor classroom due to the weekend rain, but her teaching and demonstrations were very helpful to everyone. Day 2 provided an afternoon opportunity to get out to paint. We welcomed two new SOCALPAPA Members and as they joined the other 8 participants!

Additional thanks to the IRWD for providing us with the Learning Center at the San Joaquin Wildlife Center.

Hortense Miller Garden, Laguna Beach, CA

The Hortense Miller Garden in Laguna Beach has invited SOCALPAPA members to paint at this beautiful garden location where - in the 1950's - Hortense and Oscar Miller built their Mid-Century Modern home among 2-1/2 acres on the upper slopes of Boat Canyon in Laguna Beach.
